43" STRONG SRT43UD6593

The Strong SRT43UD6593 TV displays content on a 43" screen in 4K Ultra HD resolution. It uses a Direct LED panel with direct backlighting, which contributes to uniform brightness and contrast. Smart functions are managed by the Android TV operating system with access to streaming apps and Google Assistant voice control. Support for the HDR10 standard, together with 10-bit colour depth, expands the dynamic range and improves the smoothness of colour transitions. For receiving broadcasts, there is a full set of DVB-T2/C/S2 tuners, and connectivity is provided by three HDMI 2.1 ports, WiFi and Bluetooth.

Picture and Display Technology

The core of the picture is a panel with a screen size of 109cm (43") and 4K Ultra HD resolution (3840 × 2160). The screen is illuminated by Direct LED backlighting with diodes across the entire panel surface, which contributes to uniform brightness and, in conjunction with local dimming, increases contrast. The TV processes a high dynamic range signal in the HDR10 standard, which expands the difference between dark and light parts and displays more detail. The picture uses 10-bit colour depth with over a billion shades, ensuring smooth transitions without banding. The panel's static contrast ratio is 5000:1 and determines the difference between black and white. This parameter is important for picture depth and detail in dark scenes. The 50/60Hz refresh rate ensures smooth display of broadcasts and films. Image Quality Ratio 1000 technology optimises the picture for action scenes.

Sound

Sound reproduction is handled by a pair of integrated speakers with a total output of 10W. This power is suitable for clear dialogue and basic sound effects in small to medium-sized rooms. The TV uses the standard AV Stereo sound format and offers several preset sound modes that adjust the equalisation for different listening scenarios.

Smart Features and Interface

The Android TV operating system serves as the user interface. It provides access to the Google Play store and organises content on a clear home screen. The Android TV platform provides access to a wide range of apps. Available services include Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, and HBO, for example. The integrated Google Assistant voice assistant simplifies interaction with the TV. You can issue commands using the microphone in the remote control. The assistant is also used to manage your smart home, such as lights or thermostats. The built-in Chromecast feature allows for wireless streaming of content from mobile devices or a computer to the TV screen. You can mirror the screen of your phone, tablet, or Chrome browser, as well as send specific videos and music from apps.

Gaming Features

For gaming, the TV supports cloud gaming services. This feature allows you to stream games directly to the TV screen over the internet, without the need for a gaming console or a powerful computer. To connect gaming devices, there are three ports with an HDMI 2.1 interface, which provide the necessary data throughput.

Connectivity

The connector setup includes three HDMI 2.1 ports and two USB ports for playing multimedia files. For internet connection, there is a LAN network port, and the audio outputs consist of a digital optical port and a headphone jack. A built-in WiFi module is used for connecting to the home network. Wireless connectivity is complemented by Bluetooth technology for pairing devices. DLNA support facilitates media sharing on the local network. The TV has a complete set of tuners for receiving all types of signals. The integrated DVB-T2 tuner with HEVC codec receives terrestrial broadcasts, DVB-C is for cable television, and DVB-S2 for satellite reception. A CI+ slot is available for decoding paid channels.

Design, Mounting and Dimensions

The TV has a design with narrow black bezels on three sides of the screen, which direct attention to the content being watched. Stability on furniture is provided by a pair of sturdy side feet for a secure placement. The package also includes a smart remote control, which contains a microphone for voice control and buttons for quick access to streaming services. In addition to placing it on a stand, the TV can also be mounted on the wall. For this purpose, there are holes on the back compatible with the VESA standard with a spacing of 200 × 200mm. The dimensions of the TV with the stand are 963 × 613 × 226mm, and without the stand, 963 × 561 × 82mm. The total width with the feet is 968mm.

Energy Consumption

The TV belongs to energy class G for both standard and high dynamic range. The energy consumption when playing content in both SDR and HDR mode is identically 54kWh per 1,000 hours of operation. In standby mode, consumption drops below 0.5W, which contributes to saving electricity. A standard mains cable is used for power.
