Front hub

• Front hub motors are the cheapest and simplest option.
• Mostly used on urban electric bikes, these types of wheels often have the battery placed on a carrier, which in combination with the front position of the engine provides good balance wheel.
• One disadvantage is the occasional loss of traction of the front wheel on wet surfaces.

Rear hub

• This eliminates the problem of front wheel slip and offers maximum torque.
• The most commonly used system.
• One disadvantage is a slight imbalance between the rear and front wheels.

Center wheel

• The most effective system - used primarily for MTB and trekking bikes, which allow for higher loads.
• Thanks to optimum weight distribution, this option offers excellent handling.
• Due to its higher price, it is used mainly for high-end electric bikes.
