Home Cinema with Dolby Atmos and a Range of Advanced Features
8K high-resolution video playback is supported on three of the receiver's six HDMI inputs and one output. In addition, image quality and compatibility are enhanced by advanced HLG, HDR, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Dynamic HDR passthrough features. You can enhance your home cinema with a 5.1.2 speaker setup that allows you to enjoy immersive 3D sound with Dolby Atmos technology. In addition, the DA Height Virtualization feature ensures that even without height speakers, you'll feel like the sound source is directly above your head. The Dolby Surround upmixer then effectively engages all speakers to create a unique 3D sound experience even from older audio content.
The Denon AVR-X1800H DAB Offers Finely Detailed Sound
One of the strengths of the AVR-X1800H DAB receiver is the object-based DTS:X surround sound format, which creates an immersive and realistic 3D sound field by placing sounds in the correct position in the space around the listener. The DTS Neural:X upmixer technology provides a more realistic rendering for older content, while DTS Virtual:X provides immersive sound even without height or rear speakers. Virtual height sound effects can be created in a 7.1, 5.1, or 2.1 speaker configuration.
The Receiver Can Be Controlled Using Voice Assistants
The AVR-X1800H DAB AV receiver can be controlled hands-free using the Amazon Alexa voice assistant - just download the free HEOS Home Entertainment Skill and enable Amazon Alexa voice commands. Easily adjust playback volume, skip to the next track, switch inputs for different media players, and more, all with your voice. Voice control requires the Alexa app and a compatible Amazon device (Echo, Dot, and others). Feature availability varies by region. You can also use AirPlay 2 technology with the Siri voice assistant, which allows you to wirelessly stream Apple Music to the AV receiver. In addition, the amplifier can be easily grouped with other AirPlay-compatible speakers, allowing you to cover the space with music even more effectively.
High-Quality Picture Thanks to HDR 10+ Technology
The Denon AVR-X1800H DAB supports HDR (High Dynamic Range), HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), and Dynamic HDR and HDR10+ passthrough. HLG technology is specifically designed for television broadcasting and allows HDR content to be distributed without having to abandon existing standards. The HLG signal works on both new HDR TVs and older SDR (Standard Dynamic Range) TVs. Dynamic HDR and HDR10+ technologies then effectively use dynamic metadata to optimise shadows and highlights as scenes change. The receiver is also compatible with Dolby Vision, an advanced HDR imaging technology that delivers exceptionally bright images with realistic colours and contrast. The Denon AVR-X1800H DAB amplifier supports 8K resolution, including the ability to upscale 4K content. It also features the modern HDCP 2.3 copy protection standard.
The Denon AVR-X1800H DAB Offers High-Resolution Sound
The Denon AVR-X1800H DAB AV receiver offers exceptional fidelity for high-resolution audio tracks, allowing you to enjoy music the way the artist intended. The front USB port supports high-resolution audio playback up to 24bit/192kHz in MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, and ALAC formats. The receiver also supports the latest technologies on all HDMI inputs and outputs. ARC (Audio Return Channel) and eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) make it easy to play TV audio through your AV receiver using a single HDMI connection. The eARC function allows the transmission of HD and 3D audio, while ARC is limited to conventional 5.1-channel audio formats or PCM.
Built-in HEOS Streaming System
The Denon AVR-X1800H DAB amplifier features the built-in HEOS service, which allows for convenient wireless music streaming from a variety of free and premium streaming services (Spotify, Tidal, Amazon Music HD, AirPlay 2) using compatible HEOS components. You will also appreciate the built-in DAB+ tuner and the TuneIn service, which allows you to easily receive digital radio broadcasts or internet radio. Add Denon Home speakers to different rooms and control music playback conveniently using the HEOS app. You can stream the same music in every room, or easily select a different music source for each space.
