The self-watering system consists of three stainless steel planters which you just need to place in the plastic water tank, which is covered by a removable lid. The planted herbs will then be watered via a special wick, so you won't have to constantly check the soil's moisture. If you want to refill the WMF 641306040 planters, simply remove the lid and top up the water.
