The TESLA TE-323 set-top box is designed for DVB-T2 H.265 (HEVC) digital broadcasting in the Czech Republic, as well as existing DVB-T signals via a classic antenna, with the option to place it behind your TV. The menu, EPG (electronic programme guide) and teletext are all in Czech. In the settings, you can switch the language to Slovak, English, Polish, Italian, or Croatian. Installation and tuning are simple and automatic thanks to the setup wizard. You can also tune channels manually. You can connect it to a newer TV using an HDMI cable, while for older TVs, you can use the SCART connector. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the TESLA TE-323 can be hidden behind the TV. To do this, you just need to connect the external IR sensor and place it in front of the TV to maintain the connection between the receiver and the remote control.

Multimedia
Play films, music or photos from an external USB storage device. You can also record live programmes and schedule recordings for when you are away. You can then play back the recording whenever you want and even fast-forward through the adverts. You can do the same with the TimeShift function included with the TESLA TE-323 receiver.
HDMI-CEC function
A function designed to control connected devices via an HDMI cable using just one remote. This means individual devices with CEC support can control each other. For example, the remote for the TESLA TE-323 set-top box can simultaneously turn the TV on or off (the HDMI-CEC function must be supported by both devices. However, correct operation is not always guaranteed).
Universal and senior remote controls
The TESLA TE-323 package contains two types of remote control – a universal one and a simplified one. The universal remote is programmed using your TV's original remote control. You then only need one remote to operate everything. The simplified version is designed with seniors and users with limited dexterity in mind. It contains only the basic controls for turning the device on/off, changing programmes and adjusting the volume, which eliminates the risk of accidentally changing settings. The extra-large buttons ensure good visibility even for people with impaired vision.
