Self-contained hiking tent COLEMAN Darwin 3+ with two crossed poles forming the bedroom and a third pole creating a spacious vestibule with integrated floor. It is a tent shaped like a so-called dome or igloo, its biggest advantage is therefore its perfect stability. It is only possible to get in from one side. The entrance area is covered by a large hallway, usable as additional storage space. Blacked-out transparent windows in the hallway give plenty of light inside.

Water column
Indicates the resistance of the fabric and seams to water leakage. Indicates the amount of water that the material is able to hold before it begins to leak. The higher the value in mm, the higher the resistance of the tent. Each tent should have a tropical canopy with a water column of at least 2,000 mm, which is approximately the pressure exerted by a raindrop flying at 80-90 km/h. If you want to weather the storm unscathed, a water column of at least 3,000 mm is a better bet. A water column of 5,000 mm is recommended for normal hiking. For more demanding conditions, choose a subfloor with a water column of 8,000-10,000 mm.
