The Samsung HW-T420/EN Soundbar delivers richer TV sound in a 2.1-channel design with a total power output of 150W. The soundbar is complemented by a 6.5" subwoofer, which enhances deep bass when watching films, listening to music and playing games. Smart Sound automatically adjusts the settings to the content being played, and there's also a special game mode. You can connect the soundbar wirelessly to your Samsung TV via Bluetooth or use the optical input, and music playback from a USB is also supported.

The Smart Sound feature analyses the audio being played and automatically optimises its settings for the specific content. This allows the Samsung HW-T420/EN Soundbar to adapt the sound reproduction for a sports broadcast, for example, or for a film with an emphasis on dialogue clarity.
Game Mode
The special Game Mode optimises sound when gaming on a compatible TV and games console. Cross-talk cancellation technology helps to suppress unwanted noise and reproduce sounds from individual directions more accurately, so you can orient yourself better in the gaming environment.
Wireless Connection via Bluetooth
You can use Bluetooth to connect to a compatible Samsung TV, so there's no need to run another audio cable between the TV and the soundbar. There is also one optical input and a USB port for playing supported audio files.
System Type
A soundbar can be either active or passive. Active systems have their own amplifier, so you don't have to worry about anything else. In contrast, passive speakers need an external amplifier to function, from which the sound is then directed to the individual speakers.
