The Philips VoiceTracer DVT1170 is a compact digital voice recorder with a 360° microphone, 8GB of internal memory and PCM WAV recording format. It offers voice-activated recording, one-touch instant recording and preset modes for notes, meetings and music. The internal memory allows for up to 46 hours of recording at 384kbps quality and up to 11 hours at 1536kbps. It runs for up to 70 hours on two AAA batteries, and the capacity can be expanded with a microSD card of up to 128GB.

Recording, Controls and Connectivity
The built-in single-channel microphone allows you to make recordings in PCM WAV format with a bitrate of 384 or 1536kbps. Preset scenes for Memo, Meeting and Music automatically adjust the recording parameters according to the selected situation. Voice-activated recording starts recording when you speak and stops when it's quiet, while the one-touch function allows you to start recording instantly by holding down the Record button. The voice recorder also offers file timestamps, up to 10 bookmarks per file, variable playback speed, file repeat and A–B repeat. There is a 3.5mm headphone output, a 3.5mm stereo microphone input and a USB-C port with high-speed USB 2.0 support.
