Motherboard with the new AMD A55 chipset and FM1 socket supports AMD APU series A well-known rather codenamed Llano. A55 is based on the concept of FMX, which means that there are in fact only the south bridge. North Bridge is fully integrated into the compatible processors. Compared to higher chipset A75 A55 is impoverished native support for USB 3.0 and SATA III. Other key features such as support for HD audio, RAID 0/1/10 and hard drives with a capacity of 2.2 TB and more in UEFI BIOS, have been retained.
Model in design from MSI deliver intelligent OC Genie II function, which can automatically detect and subsequently adjust the frequency and voltage for CPU, memory and the iGPU to achieve increased system performance. The uniqueness lies in the fact that the whole process takes just a second! Of course there is a UEFI BIOS called ClickBIOS. An interesting alternative is Winki 3 operating system with ultra fast booting. The board may recommend to the report aimed at office use, consumption of multimedia content and occasional gaming.
