The CURAPROX Baby orthodontic dummy is designed for children from 12 months to 2.5 years and helps prevent and correct improper development of the child's mouth. Its special shape with a flat tip and side wings supports the correct development of the jaw and dental arch. This helps prevent future problems such as crooked teeth, mouth breathing or incorrect swallowing. The teat is made of soft, BPA-free silicone, which is pleasant for the baby.

How the active correction dummy works

Unlike regular dummies, which stay in the mouth on their own, this model is active. To prevent it from falling out, the child must actively use their tongue and cheeks when using it. It is this activity that triggers the dummy's corrective abilities. The pressure of the tongue on the flexible membrane causes the side wings to push the palate outwards from the inside. This helps the dummy to shape the dental arch into its optimal shape and can contribute to correcting anatomical abnormalities such as an open or cross bite.
