For removing paint from materials or shaping wood and plastics, we recommend the DREMEL sanding band. It is mainly used for removing the surface layer of wood and other soft materials such as hard and soft woods, plastic, fibreglass or aluminium and rubber. It can also be used to smooth rust from metal. It is advisable to use the edges of the band for sanding.

Using the DREMEL sanding band
DREMEL sanding bands wear out over time. Replacing them is very easy. Simply loosen the screws on the top of the drum and replace the sanding band. The DREMEL sanding band can handle plywood, wood, hardened steel, silver, rubber, soft wood, soft metal, gold, stainless steel, plastic, chipboard, brass, aluminium, copper and plexiglass.
