The Pascal GP104 graphics core features 1,920 CUDA cores with 120 texture units. The basic core clock of this model is set to 1,607 MHz, but it surges up to 1,797 MHz in Boost Mode.

The new architecture cooling ICX
The EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 FTW2 GAMING graphics card is equipped with iCX technology that delivers 9 temperature sensors - one for graphics, three for memory modules and the other five for power electronics. This results in more efficient cooling and subsequently increased performance and life of the card. The pair of fans works in asynchronous mode. The graphics chip temperature is regulated by the left fan, while the right fan is subject to temperature evaluation from other temperature sensors.
