DJI Neo
DJI Neo
A palm-sized drone with a first-class camera
The Neo is the lightest and most compact drone that DJI has ever made. You can easily take off right from the palm of your hand, without needing a remote controller. The compact DJI drone will capture first-class cinematic shots starring you or your friends, thanks to object tracking using artificial intelligence. With the DJI Neo drone, you can fly both outdoors and indoors with ease, as its propellers are fitted with protective guards. You can look forward to detailed and stabilised 4K video or taking high-resolution photos.
Key features of the DJI Neo drone
- Compact and lightweight drone weighing only 135 grams
- Ability to take off from and land in your palm
- Object tracking using artificial intelligence, QuickShots
- Wide range of control options
- 4K ultra-stabilised video and detailed photos

The DJI Neo takes off from your palm and lands right back in it
DJI has equipped the Neo drone with first-class features, allowing it to take off from your palm and return to it without any worries. Just press the button for the appropriate shooting mode and the DJI Neo drone will capture impressive shots, without the need for a remote controller. The compact drone can track objects using artificial intelligence algorithms, so it can follow you while you run, cycle, or do any other activity. The DJI Neo drone will be your small and handy personal photographer, for whom you will always be the centre of attention. You will have access to QuickShots functions with a total of six intelligent shooting modes: Dronie, Circle, Rocket, Spotlight, Helix and Boomerang.
Control the drone in the way that suits you
You can use multiple ways to control the drone. The DJI Neo supports aerial filming without needing a remote control. You can easily pair it with the DJI Fly app, remote controllers, RC Motion, DJI Goggles and other devices. The DJI drone can also be controlled using your voice or via the virtual joysticks in the DJI Fly app. If you get the RC Motion 3, the DJI Neo drone can perform advanced aerial acrobatics at the touch of a single button and even manoeuvre in tight spaces. In short, the drone is very agile, making it a great companion for honing your skills in manual mode.
The drone's large sensor captures great shots
As is tradition with DJI, the Neo drone is also equipped with a high-quality sensor. The one in the DJI Neo is 1/2-inch and can take photos with a 12MP resolution. Thanks to advanced stabilisation algorithms, the DJI Neo records excellent stabilised videos in 4K UHD at 30 FPS. Video stabilisation is handled by a single-axis mechanical gimbal, which further enhances image stabilisation with RockSteady and HorizonBalancing. The DJI drone's stabilisation algorithms significantly reduce overall image shake and adjust the horizontal tilt within a range of ±45°, which ensures smooth and stable shots.
The drone has plenty of space for all your creations
The DJI Neo has 22GB of internal storage, which can hold up to 40 minutes of 4K video at 30 FPS or 55 minutes of 1080p video at 60 FPS. When connected to the DJI Fly app, you can use an external microphone for audio recording, automatically eliminate propeller noise, or merge the audio track from an external microphone with the recording. The DJI Neo drone features fast QuickTransfer data transfer, which means you no longer need to connect the drone to your device with a cable; you can use Wi-Fi instead. In the app, you can also perform quick post-production with a single click, for example, using One-Tap Glamour. In addition, you'll have a wide range of templates and sound effects for easy editing.
The DJI Neo can handle long flights with excellent stability
Even though the DJI Neo drone is really small, its battery life will pleasantly surprise you. The drone can stay in the air for up to 18 minutes and while hovering, it can maintain excellent stability even in winds up to level 4 using precise positioning via its infrared and monocular system. The DJI Neo is also equipped with Automatic Return to Home (RTH) upon completing its flight path. If you use a remote controller, the DJI drone supports the Return to Home (RTH) and Failsafe RTH functions. If you want to recharge the drone's battery, simply connect it directly to an adapter via a Type-C data cable (included in the package).
