360° Video Editing and Working with Footage

Footage captured by the compact drone can be easily exported in its original format and then edited in post-production—for example, by changing the composition from any perspective. You can also edit the flight direction, add creative spins, the Asteroid effect, or a dolly zoom. You can also export the unedited video exactly as it was shot. Editing 360° footage is intuitive and flexible.

* All videos and images on this page were shot with the DJI Avata 360 by professionals in strict compliance with local laws and regulations and have been edited in post-production. All videos and images are for reference only. Always adhere to local laws and regulations and ensure the drone has the appropriate certifications and flight permits before flying.
** All data on this page was collected using a production model DJI Avata 360 in a controlled test environment. Actual experience may vary depending on the environment, usage, and firmware version.
*** All images, videos, and on-screen content related to the product itself on this page are for reference only. The actual product features (including but not limited to appearance, colour, and size) and on-screen display content (including but not limited to backgrounds, UI, and illustrations) may vary.
¹ Only available in 360° Mode. When shooting in 360° Mode, each of the two CMOS sensors of the DJI Avata 360 has an imaging area equivalent to a 1-inch 4:3 CMOS sensor.
² Only available in 360° Mode.
³ The conditions for enabling omnidirectional obstacle sensing at night are as follows: The front, back, left, right, or top of the aircraft is within the range of surfaces with discernible texture and lighting intensity exceeding 1 lux. Similarly, the ground surface below the aircraft is textured and diffusely reflective with a reflectivity above 20% (e.g., walls, trees, or people), also in lighting conditions with an illumination intensity greater than 1 lux. Do not fly the drone in adverse weather, such as strong wind (wind speed 10.7 m/s or more), snow, rain, thunderstorms, or fog. Do not fly the drone at 5,000m or more above sea level. Do not fly the drone in environments where the temperature is below –10°C (14°F) or above 40°C (104°F). Do not take off from moving objects such as cars or boats. Do not fly close to reflective surfaces, such as water or snow. Otherwise, the vision system may not function correctly. The vision system may not work correctly in low-light environments. Always fly with caution and do not let the drone enter Attitude mode. DO NOT fly near areas with magnetic or radio interference. Known sources of magnetic or radio interference include Wi-Fi hotspots, routers, Bluetooth devices, high-voltage power lines, large-scale power transmission stations, radar stations, mobile base stations, and broadcasting towers. Prevent sand from entering the drone when taking off in a desert or from a beach. Fly the drone in open areas away from crowds. Buildings, mountains, and trees may block the GNSS signal and affect the onboard compass's functionality. Omnidirectional obstacle sensing is only effective in 360° Mode on surfaces with discernible texture and in lighting conditions of 1 lux or more, and is not available when entering the playback interface. In Single Lens mode, only forward obstacle sensing is supported.
⁴ In Single Lens mode, shooting 4:3 aspect ratio video is only supported when using Goggles 3/N3 paired with RC Motion 3 or FPV Remote Controller 3.
⁵ Measured in an outdoor, open environment, free of interference, and with FCC compliance. The 20km transmission distance is only available under FCC standards; in mainland China, the SRRC standard applies, with a max transmission distance of 10km. The above data shows the farthest communication range for one-way, non-return flights. Always pay attention to in-app reminders during your flight.
⁶ The RC 2, RC-N2, or RC-N3 remote controller is required to use the ActiveTrack 360° function. It is recommended to use ActiveTrack 360° in an open environment. Refer to the user manual for unsupported scenarios or scenarios that may interrupt recording. In complex environments with many obstacles, be cautious when using auto mode to ensure flight and personal safety.
⁷ Sold separately.
⁸ The stated values were measured using the internal storage or a high-speed microSD card in a laboratory environment with low interference in countries/regions that support both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz. Actual download speeds may vary.
⁹ Measured when flying at a constant speed of 21.6kph in a windless environment at sea level, with the camera in Photo mode, from 100% battery level until 0%. Data is for reference only. Always pay attention to the live view reminders during your flight.
¹⁰ A DJI 65W Portable Charger or DJI 100W USB-C Power Adapter is required for parallel charging. The hub supports parallel charging with a power input of 65W or higher. Otherwise, batteries will be charged sequentially, prioritising the battery with the lowest charge level.
¹¹ For 120MP/16K 360° photos, the resolution is 15,520×7,760 (120MP) in JPEG format and 15,360×7,680 (118MP) in DNG format.
