Magnetic switches
The keyboard uses Corsair MGX Hyperdrive Core magnetic switches, which operate by sensing a magnetic field. These switches offer an adjustable actuation point from 0.2mm to 3.8mm. The manufacturer states a lifespan of up to 100 million keystrokes for long-term use. The linear characteristic of the switches provides smooth action with every press.
Advanced Hall effect features
Hall effect technology introduces features like Rapid Trigger, which resets a key as soon as it's released. The Multi-Action function allows you to assign up to four different actions to a single keystroke based on the press depth. You can also use the Tap Lock function to permanently activate selected keys without needing to hold them down continuously. The Smart Tap function distinguishes between a quick tap and a long press of a key.

Corsair Axon technology processes signals with a response frequency of up to 8000Hz. This means the keyboard transmits inputs to the computer up to eight times faster than standard models. Players can activate the FlashTap SOCD function to optimise conflicting directional commands. This feature prioritises the last key pressed when the left and right movement keys are pressed simultaneously.

The keyboard is dust and water resistant to IP57 specification. Its construction withstands accidental spills and dirt build-up. The manufacturer has integrated two sound-dampening layers inside to absorb unwanted sounds and echoes during fast typing. The PBT keycaps are highly resistant to wear and shine.

Configuration via Web Hub
