The Brother MFC-J5010DW inkjet printer is designed for colour and monochrome printing, scanning, copying and faxing in an office environment. The device prints on A4, A5, and A6 paper and also supports printing on 10×15cm photo paper. Its four-colour system uses pigment-based inks for sharp text and rich colours. Connect to the network via USB, LAN or a wireless WiFi network. The 512MB internal memory is complemented by a 960MHz processor for fast print job processing. The design also supports DL and Com-10 envelope formats, as well as Letter and Legal paper types.

MAXIDRIVE technology and paper trays
The print head uses piezoelectric technology to apply ink precisely under high pressure. The printer prints in both monochrome and colour at up to 28 pages per minute according to the ISO standard. It prints the first monochrome page in 4.5 seconds from standby mode. The printer offers an input capacity with a standard 250-sheet tray, a 1-sheet manual feed, and a 50-sheet automatic document feeder. It holds a total of 300 sheets. The output tray holds 150 sheets of A4 paper. Automatic duplex printing helps reduce paper consumption in the office. It processes media with a weight of 64 to 220gsm in the main tray. Supported media types include plain, recycled, inkjet, and glossy paper.
Duplex scanning
The integrated flatbed scanner offers an optical resolution of 1200×1200dpi for detailed document digitisation. The automatic duplex feeder holds up to 50 sheets of paper and speeds up the processing of multi-page documents. The scanner scans at up to 30 pages per minute in duplex mode. Users can scan directly to email, a network folder, or a connected USB drive.
Wireless connection
The device supports integration into the corporate network using gigabit ethernet or dual-band wireless WiFi. The AirPrint protocol makes it easy to print from mobile phones and tablets without needing to install drivers. The Brother Mobile Connect app simplifies device setup and monitoring of consumable status. The front USB port is for direct printing of PDF and JPEG files.
Three-layer security and advanced maintenance
Protection of sensitive information occurs at the device, network, and document levels. Secure Function Lock 3.0 restricts access to selected functions for specific users via a PIN code. Internal storage encryption protects stored data from unauthorised access. The printer automatically detects network attacks and performs a secure restart if necessary. The system automatically monitors nozzle status and provides timely alerts for print head maintenance. Micro-vibration technology and multiple suction prevent ink from drying out in the supply channels. The 2.7" (6.8cm) touchscreen provides a clear interface for controlling all functions.
