Flatbed scanner resolution

The resolution of a flatbed scanner is a key parameter that determines the quality of the scanned image. It is measured in DPI (dots per inch) and indicates how fine details the scanner can capture. Higher resolution means better scan quality and the ability to display fine textures or small letters in detail. Typical values are 300 DPI for general scanning and up to 1200 DPI for scanning highly detailed documents.
