Activate the optional ExtraDry function to get your dishes exceptionally dry. It uses higher temperatures during the rinse cycle and a longer drying phase – all at the press of a button.
Hygienically tested BOSCH dishwasher
The BOSCH SMV2HVX06E Serie 2 dishwasher effectively eliminates viruses like corona or influenza even on the Eco 50°C programme, as tested by the Institute for Integrative Hygiene and Virology (Hygiene Label Level 1). An even higher level of hygiene can be achieved by using higher-temperature programmes, which are effective against more resilient viruses, including enveloped and non-enveloped ones. The Intensive 70°C programme and the Machine Care maintenance programme on BOSCH dishwashers meet these criteria (Hygiene Label Level 3).
Flexible dish loading
Bosch basket systems adapt perfectly to all your needs, providing exceptional stability and innovative use of space. Thanks to foldable tines and plate racks, they can accommodate even bulky items, including pots and pans. The top basket is also height-adjustable. If you need even more space, the BOSCH SMV2HVX06E Serie 2 dishwasher features a VarioDrawer pull-out cutlery tray, which adds an extra loading level at the top of the dishwasher. This makes loading the dishwasher significantly easier and increases its capacity. It's the ideal place for cutlery and small kitchen utensils like ladles, whisks or espresso cups. This drawer replaces the cutlery basket in the bottom rack, leaving you more space in the lower part of the dishwasher.
Voice control for your BOSCH dishwasher
Thanks to its compatibility with Amazon Alexa, you can also control your BOSCH dishwasher with your voice. Check if the 'Home Connect' skill is available for your country and language in the Alexa app. Activate it to link your Amazon Alexa device with your home appliance.
Your favourite programme at the touch of a button
The Favourite Programme function lets you save your most-used combination of programme and additional functions, making it much easier to operate your smart BOSCH SMV2HVX06E Serie 2 dishwasher. You can then easily start the programmed setting via the Home Connect app or by pressing the button directly on the dishwasher's control panel. For example, combine the Extra Dry function with the Eco 50°C programme and start the dishwasher with a single touch. Creating your own combination of a programme and an optional function makes washing dishes even easier.
ActiveWater technology
We designed the ActiveWater system to wash dishes thoroughly while minimising resource consumption. Instead of just using more water, it uses it more efficiently. Thanks to targeted spraying, rapid circulation and advanced filtration, our dishwashers achieve hygienically clean and sparkling dishes. This efficient design allows us to achieve these results with less water and therefore less energy to heat it.
A built-in dishwasher that runs quietly
Dishwashers with a SilentPowerDrive ensure efficient washing at a low noise level. They are equipped with a brushless motor designed for energy-efficient operation. The motor helps to reduce friction noise and contributes to the smooth, quiet running of the appliance.
Unleash the full power of your detergent
Using the right amount of detergent is important for optimal washing results. The Dosing Assistant in the BOSCH SMV2HVX06E Serie 2 dishwasher ensures that the detergent dissolves completely in a special collection tray at the top of the basket. A targeted jet of water distributes the detergent evenly, in a controlled and rapid manner, throughout the entire dishwasher interior. The result is a more effective and quieter wash.
BOSCH guarantees quality
The BOSCH SMV2HVX06E Serie 2 dishwasher has an AquaStop system that protects your home from flooding for the entire lifetime of the appliance. As soon as a sensor detects a leak, the BOSCH dishwasher automatically stops operating and pumps out the water through a double-walled hose. Thanks to a special surface treatment, BOSCH provides a 10-year warranty against rust-through for the entire interior of the dishwasher.
Lifetime AquaStop warranty against water damage
Every Bosch appliance undergoes precise checks according to strictly set standards for quality, performance and sustainability. All Bosch dishwashers have the AquaStop system and a lifetime warranty against water damage, as well as a ten-year warranty against rust-through of the inner tub.
