The long-awaited OnePlus 12R 5G smartphone is finally here, and it's heading straight for the top league, where only the best smartphones compete. Its features far exceed some competitors, yet its price remains accessible. You will definitely love the beautiful AMOLED display, lightning-fast charging, 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and the excellent 50Mpx Sony camera. An interesting benefit of the OnePlus 12R 5G smartphone is the extremely popular Oxygen OS 14 graphical user interface.
The OnePlus 12R 5G's display boasts a 6.78" screen size and an exceptionally fine resolution of 2780×1264 pixels. The quality of the display is further enhanced by a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 4500 nits. This means that all animations on the OnePlus 12R 5G mobile phone are smoother and more pleasing. The new type of AMOLED display is also able to dynamically change the refresh rate, which has a positive effect on battery life. Let's not forget the integrated optical fingerprint reader at the bottom of the OnePlus 12R 5G's display. The durable Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 layer provides long-term screen protection.
The back of the OnePlus 12R 5G phone is dominated by an attractive camera housing. The main 50Mpx Sony IMX890 sensor features improved noise reduction and optical stabilisation. It also boasts laser focusing, optical image stabilisation and an f/1.8 aperture. You also get a wide-angle camera with an 8Mpx resolution and an f/2.2 aperture. You will also appreciate the 2Mpx macro sensor. On the front, a 16Mpx selfie camera has its fixed place.
With the OnePlus 12R 5G, you can enjoy night shots with a special mode that makes it easy to get great low-light photos. The ultra-fast shutter release takes just a fraction of a second. Capture attractive shots in the blink of an eye with fast image processing and brighten up your world with rich detail and vivid colours. Advanced AI with a range of other filters and neat features watches over it all.
The 5500mAh battery is great in itself and will keep the OnePlus 12R 5G going for 2 days. However, the phone supports up to 100W wired charging, which in practice means you can get enough power for a full working day in just 10 minutes.
When it comes to performance, there's no room for speculation. The OnePlus 12R 5G boasts an improved 8-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip with a frequency of up to 3.2GHz, which is complemented by 16GB of RAM and an impressive 256GB of internal memory. This is performance that will last you for a long time to come. The beefed-up Adreno 740 graphics chip then offers significantly higher performance than the older generation.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip also includes support for modern 5G networks, which are the trend of the future. The OnePlus 12R 5G unlocks the gateway to an expanding high-speed network.
You'll appreciate Oxygen OS 14 when competing phones are still missing the latest version of Android. OnePlus is perhaps the furthest ahead of any manufacturer in the software department. Immerse yourself in the immersive and soothing Aquamorphic Design 2.0, in the spirit of a design language built on the unique properties of water. Explore an endless array of powerful features with the potential to take your digital life to the next level. With a new stable and more reliable core, OxygenOS runs like a charm. System performance is wonderfully smooth thanks to HyperBoost and AI System Booster technologies, taking mobile gaming to a new level and guaranteeing smooth running of all applications.
