Alza.hu was launched in Hungary in 2016, initially with a store in Budapest and as an online shop. The company quickly became popular thanks to the expansion of AlzaBoxes, the "Order by midnight, find it in AlzaBox by noon" service and a customer-centric business model. Alza.hu, now one of the country's leading e-retailers, offers a nationwide network of parcel automats and a constantly expanding range of services to its customers online or in its 5 stores. It is now a purely Czech joint stock company, with its tax domicile also in the Czech Republic. It is owned by a group of investors through the holding company L.S. Investments Limited.
