The Levenhuk New Skyline BASE 60/700 AZ2 is an achromatic refractor with a 60mm aperture and a 700mm focal length. It lets you observe the Moon, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars and other objects in the Solar System. The instrument is versatile. You can use it as a telescope for observing the night sky or as a spotting scope for observing terrestrial objects. Simple mount control
The optical tube is installed on an AZ2 alt-azimuth mount. This is a very intuitive system: you can simply move the tube up and down or side to side. Locking screws let you secure the telescope in place once you find your target. The tripod is made of lightweight yet durable aluminium. You can adjust the tripod's height to suit the observer, which is especially handy if the telescope is used by both adults and children. The accessory tray keeps all your accessories within easy reach.
Expanded accessory kit
The telescope comes fully equipped. It includes 10mm (70×) and 20mm (35×) eyepieces, a screen size mirror, and a 1.5× erecting eyepiece that provides a correctly oriented image. To double the magnification, simply add the included 2× Barlow lens. A special lunar filter reduces the Moon's brightness and helps you observe more surface details.
