The Levenhuk Kelvin Touch KM3 digital photomicroscope allows you to observe microscopic slides in a laboratory, school or home environment. This optical instrument does not require a built-in screen or a traditional eyepiece. Instead, it creates its own 5GHz Wi-Fi hotspot, through which it transmits a real-time image directly to a smartphone or tablet running iOS, Android or HarmonyOS. This allows users to view the magnified specimen directly on the screen of their mobile device and easily capture Full HD images.

Optical System and Magnification
Three achromatic objective lenses with 4×, 10× and 40× magnification and a parfocal distance of 35mm provide a total magnification range from 50× to 1,900× when combined with digital zoom. The glass optics display details of cellular structures and the surfaces of opaque objects. The coaxial focus combines a coarse adjustment of 0.4mm and a fine adjustment of 0.002mm for precise setting of the focal plane.
Wireless Transmission
The integrated Wi-Fi module operates at 5GHz and transmits a stable signal in the immediate vicinity of the device. A mobile device with the compatible app captures the signal and displays Full HD video at 30 frames per second. The 1/3” colour CMOS sensor allows you to capture still images in JPEG format at a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and video recordings in MP4 format directly to your phone's memory.
Dual-Axis Mechanical Stage
The 105 × 95mm stage has a double-layer mechanical construction with a specimen holder. The specimen moves smoothly on two axes. Below it is an N.A. 0.65 condenser and a disc diaphragm with six apertures. The stage includes a measuring scale with a vernier for accurately determining the position and measuring the dimensions of the objects under examination, which simplifies locating specific details on the slide.
Specimen Illumination
The dual light source uses energy-efficient 0.2W LEDs with continuously adjustable brightness. The lower illumination directs rays through transparent slides, and the upper illumination reflects light off opaque objects. This system is used for the detailed examination of minerals, insects and thin biological sections under optimal lighting conditions.
Flexible Power Supply
The device draws power from a standard 110–220V electrical outlet via a USB cable and a 5V / 2A power adapter. The integrated 18650 battery with a capacity of 2,600mAh keeps the device running for 1.5 hours without a mains connection. It takes 3 hours to fully charge the battery with the supplied power set, facilitating flexible use in the field and in classrooms.
Mobile App
The TSViewer mobile app provides complete control of the integrated camera with its 1/3” CMOS sensor. Users can start video recording, take pictures, or adjust exposure parameters directly in the app interface. The software supports iOS, Android and HarmonyOS, ensuring wide compatibility with modern phones.
