Image parameters and motorised lens
The 1/3" Progressive Scan CMOS sensor captures video in 4Mpx resolution at up to 20 frames per second. The motorised varifocal lens, with a focal length of 2.8 to 12mm and an F1.6 aperture, offers smooth viewing angle adjustment, with the horizontal angle covering 95.9° to 29.2° and the vertical 50.6° to 16.4°. To save disk space, the device uses modern H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264 compression formats. The 120dB WDR technology compensates for strong backlight and creates a clear image with balanced contrast in all lighting conditions.
Classic night vision with EXIR 2.0 technology
The device relies on classic infrared night vision, which activates a mechanical IR cut filter in complete darkness. Advanced EXIR 2.0 technology with a wavelength of 850nm emits light more efficiently than standard LEDs and eliminates overexposed spots in the centre of the shot. The infrared illuminator reaches a distance of up to 30m from the lens. The Smart IR function automatically adjusts the intensity of the infrared radiation according to the distance of the object being captured, preventing the overexposure of facial details.
Smart detection, security features and recording modes
Integrated MD 2.0 motion detection technology focuses on recognising people and vehicles, eliminating false alarms caused by leaves or small animals. Basic events also include tamper detection and system exceptions. When an incident is detected, the camera can send a notification to a mobile app or email, and simultaneously start recording to a memory card or upload the file to an FTP server. Users have a built-in slot for a MicroSD, MicroSDHC or MicroSDXC memory card with a maximum capacity of up to 256GB for local data storage. The system supports motion-triggered recording, scheduled recording, and continuous 24/7 recording. Data can be simultaneously sent to NVR network recorders or remote cloud storage. Backing up to an FTP server provides additional data protection in case of physical damage to the device.
Durable construction and connectivity of the Hilook by Hikvision IPC-D640HA-Z IP camera
The metal chassis with IP67 certification ensures complete resistance to dust and jetting water, which enables seamless operation in a temperature range from -30°C to 60°C. The IK10 standard anti-vandal design protects the internal components from mechanical impacts and attempts at destruction. The Dome-type construction offers angle adjustment from 0° to 355° horizontally, 0° to 70° vertically, and rotation from 0° to 355°. The three-axis mechanism facilitates precise lens aiming during both ceiling and wall mounting. A single RJ-45 10M/100M adaptive ethernet port handles network connection. Power is supplied either by a standard 12VDC source or via PoE 802.3af Class 3. Wide support for ONVIF, ISAPI, and SDK protocols simplifies integration into camera systems from other brands. The iVMS-4200 and HiLookVision client applications on iOS, Android, and Windows operating systems enable remote management, live view monitoring, and parameter configuration.
