The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 is controlled via a 2" rotatable OLED touchscreen display with up to 1,000 nits of brightness. There are also two new buttons for quick zoom switching. The 5D joystick expands your camera control options:

The outdoor camera is equipped with a 1" CMOS sensor and f/2.0 aperture to produce a softly blurred background and natural depth of field. The 14 EV² dynamic range and 10-bit D-Log³ profile capture rich details and true-to-life colours even in high-contrast scenes. The combination of 4K resolution at 240 FPS¹ and Slow Motion allows you to capture unique moments in slow motion.
Fast zoom control for precise shots from the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Creator Combo action camera
New Zoom button allows you to zoom in quickly and accurately even on more distant objects. One press to switch between 1× and 2× zoom, double press to activate 4× zoom. Just hold down the button to make your own settings.

ActiveTrack 7.0⁶ image stabilization and object tracking
Three-axis stabilization with support for different modes allows smooth camera movement, which you'll appreciate especially when shooting on the go. ActiveTrack 7.0< /> can track even distant objects at up to 4x zoom. Spotlight Follow and Dynamic Framing modes allow for convenient one-handed shooting. The camera can also be controlled using gestures⁹:

Auto Focus and Intelligent Subject Tracking
The camera's smart autofocus ensures that the selected subject is always in focus. Subject Lock Tracking< /> automatically focuses on the subject and tracks it until you focus on another subject using the detection frame on the display. Registered Subject Priority prioritizes focus on a preset subject.

The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 outdoor camera supports direct connection to DJI Mic transmitters and enables 4-channel audio recording. ⁷ The result is a clear voice and simultaneous capture of the surrounding environment. The DJI Mimo¹²¹⁴ app allows you to further customize each channel. Audio Zoom adjusts the sound according to the zoom, contributing to a more realistic result.

¹Shooting 4K video at 240 fps is only supported in Slow Motion mode.
²For both Normal and D-Log colour profiles, the maximum dynamic range is 14 EV. In Slow Motion mode, the actual dynamic range may be less than 14 EV.
³The D-Log colour profile with 10-bit depth is only supported in normal Video mode.
⁴2x lossless zoom is not supported in Low-Light, Slow Motion and Timelapse modes.
⁵The data were tested in a controlled laboratory environment. Using the supplied USB-C to USB-C PD (USB 3.1) cable or other USB 3.1-compatible cable, you can transfer data from the integrated storage at a maximum transfer rate of up to 800 MB/s.
⁶ActiveTrack is not supported in Panorama, Timelapse, Motionlapse and SpinShot modes, nor when the gimbal is in FPV mode and the device is held horizontally. For optimal monitoring performance, we recommend using the device in a well-lit environment. ⁷For four-channel output, you must connect a DJI Mic Transmitter. Direct connection to the first generation DJI Mic is not supported. DJI microphones are sold separately.
⁸Subject Lock Tracking and Registered Subject Priority are supported in Video and Photo Pro modes, as well as Hyperlapse mode. Not available in Panorama, Timelapse or Motionlapse modes.
⁹The effective range for gesture control is 0.5 to 5 m at 1x zoom and 1 to 7 m at 2x zoom. To control ActiveTrack or shooting, use the appropriate gestures (palm or V) and do not cover your head with your hand. The effective range may change in the future depending on firmware updates.
¹⁰The Film Tone and Beautify functions in the camera are only available in Video mode and cannot be used simultaneously. When Film Tone is turned on, Beautify settings are not available in the camera. If the Beautify function is already active in the camera, switching to Film Tone mode will deactivate the function.
¹¹The Glamour Effects feature in the app is only available in Video and Low-Light modes, and is not available in Photo or other modes.
