The ChoeTech 200W Foldable ETFE Solar Charger is designed for situations where you need a powerful energy source off the grid. The maximum power output reaches 200W, the operating voltage is 18V and the operating current is 11.1A. The panel is therefore particularly suitable for charging compatible portable power stations when camping, travelling in a caravan or during other activities away from a standard socket.
Efficient monocrystalline cells and double-sided energy gain
The panel uses monocrystalline silicon cells with an efficiency of up to 22.4%, which help to convert solar energy efficiently. Another advantage is the bifacial design, which supports light capture from both sides and can thus increase the energy gain in appropriate conditions. The integrated support legs allow you to set a suitable tilt, approximately 45°, so that the panel is better directed towards the sun.
Durable construction with an ETFE layer
The ChoeTech 200W is designed for regular outdoor use. The top ETFE layer offers high light transmittance of up to 95% and good resistance to scratches and higher temperatures. Underneath is an EVA layer with good shock absorption and protection for the solar cells. The design is complemented by a waterproof fabric back layer, which, together with the IP67 rating, helps to increase the panel's durability when used in more demanding conditions.
Portable design with a handle and an accessory pocket
Despite its higher power output, the ChoeTech 200W retains a foldable design suitable for travelling. When unfolded, the panel measures approximately 2,133 × 576mm, while when folded it takes up approximately 586 × 576mm. It weighs 6.2kg. An integrated handle makes it easy to handle, and there is also a practical pocket on the back for cables and accessories.
MC4 connectors and wide compatibility
The panel is equipped with an MC4 output, which is one of the commonly used solutions for connecting to portable power stations. When using the appropriate cabling or adapter, compatibility with 8mm, 5.5 × 2.1mm, Anderson or XT60 connections can be utilised. This allows the ChoeTech 200W to be easily integrated into various mobile power setups.
