Efficient monocrystalline cells and double-sided energy gain
The panel uses monocrystalline silicon cells with an efficiency of up to 22.4% to help convert solar energy efficiently. It also benefits from a bifacial design, which supports light capture from both sides and can thus increase the energy gain in appropriate conditions. The integrated kickstands allow you to set a suitable tilt of approximately 45° so the panel is better-oriented towards the sun.
Durable construction with an ETFE layer
The ChoeTech 160W is designed for regular outdoor use. The top ETFE layer offers high light transmittance of up to 95% and is also highly resistant to scratching and high temperatures. Underneath is an EVA layer with good shock-absorbing properties to protect the solar cells. The construction is completed by a waterproof textile backing layer, which, together with the IP67 rating, helps to increase the panel's durability when used in more demanding conditions.
