Metabond Diesel DETOX is a comprehensive cleaner and regeneration agent for diesel engine systems, providing a complete solution for cleaning injectors, valves, catalytic converters, and the fuel system. Using this product removes all common deposit-related issues in modern and older diesel engines, restores optimal engine performance, and reduces fuel consumption caused by a dirty fuel system or a faulty particulate filter. It's ideal for preventative maintenance or before an MOT test – for the exhaust emissions measurement. It can be used in all diesel engines with or without standard or retrofitted particulate filters and after-treatment systems (AdBlue, SCR, etc.).

Cleans the fuel system and DPF
Metabond Diesel DETOX is a high-quality product that cleans injectors and the DPF, and removes deposits accumulated in the fuel system, including in old and new injectors, valves, the EGR, turbo system, and combustion chamber. It has a beneficial effect in several areas, typically increasing the cetane number by 6 points and ensuring adequate diesel pump lubrication even with low-sulphur fuel. To clean the entire fuel system, Metabond Diesel DETOX also contains organometallic additives that clean and maintain the particulate filter (DPF/FAP) and after-treatment systems. The organometallic additives significantly reduce the ignition temperature of soot accumulated in the particulate filter, optimising its regular burn-off as well as the operation and lifespan of the particulate filter and after-treatment systems.
Better engine performance and lower emissions
Metabond Diesel DETOX eliminates rough idling, uneven running, hesitation, poor throttle response, and knocking, and gets rid of the sulphur smell caused by incorrect operation. A clean fuel system results in perfect combustion and lower emissions. Simplified regeneration of the particulate filter (DPF) and after-treatment systems helps protect the injectors, catalytic converter, particulate filter, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system, turbocharger compressor, and its variable-geometry blades from deposits.
Use:
Pour a full bottle (250ml) of Metabond Diesel DETOX into a nearly empty fuel tank before filling up with 40 litres of diesel. Then, drive for at least 20–30 minutes, preferably at an increased speed or revs (>3000). For optimal results, repeat the 20–30 minute high-rev driving cycle several times before refuelling. The Metabond Diesel DETOX treatment should be repeated every 8000–10000 km, depending on the engine's condition or the quality of the fuel used. One bottle (250ml) of Metabond Diesel DETOX contains enough additive for 40 litres of diesel. Significant overdosing is not recommended. Metabond Diesel DETOX can be used in all diesel engines (turbocharged, with or without a particulate filter) that use low-sulphur or normal diesel. It cannot be used with a high proportion (over 30%) of or pure biodiesel. It is recommended to use it with DPFCC at the same time, as their effects reinforce each other.
