Micro RGB technology for more precise colours
Micro RGB technology uses exceptionally small RGB backlighting elements to help control colours and brightness more precisely in individual scenes. This gives the picture more pronounced depth, richer colour reproduction, and better contrast control. The Samsung MRE55R86H can therefore render subtle colour gradients better, with more natural tones and details in both light and dark parts of the image.
Micro RGB AI Engine
The Micro RGB AI Engine handles intelligent image processing and helps control individual RGB colours more precisely. The TV analyses the image and optimises its rendering to make the colours appear rich, natural, and balanced. The result is a more vibrant image with higher accuracy that stands out better in movies, sports, games, and everyday TV content. ¹
Micro RGB Precision colour 100
Micro RGB Precision colour 100 supports an exceptionally wide colour spectrum and accurate hue display. The technology achieves 100% coverage of the BT.2020 colour space and is VDE certified. This makes colours appear more realistic and subtle, which you'll appreciate in nature scenes, film shots, and content where precise detail is important. ²
Micro RGB HDR+ for more expressive contrast
Micro RGB HDR+ helps to bring out the fine details in both bright and dark scenes. The TV can work better with contrast, depth, and colour reproduction, so the picture looks more three-dimensional and natural. Movies, TV series and games get a more immersive atmosphere and better detail readability throughout the scene. ³
4K Upscaling for sharper content
4K AI Upscaling uses the Micro RGB AI Engine and neural networks to process lower-resolution content. The TV analyses the picture and helps to convert it closer to 4K display quality. This makes regular TV broadcasts, older films, and online content look cleaner and more detailed on the large 55" screen. ⁴
Micro RGB colour Booster Pro
Micro RGB colour Booster Pro uses artificial intelligence to recognise scenes with less prominent hues and helps to enhance their colours. This makes the picture appear more vivid, but still natural. Richer colour reproduction is suitable for movies, sports broadcasts, animated content, and games where colours have a significant impact on the overall impression.
Auto HDR Remastering for more vivid SDR content
Auto HDR Remastering uses deep learning algorithms to distinguish between SDR and HDR content and then adjusts the SDR picture to bring it closer to HDR quality. This can make bright parts appear more pronounced, details more readable, and colours more vivid. Even regular SDR content can get a more impressive and high-contrast look on the Samsung MRE55R86H TV. ⁵
PANTONE Validated for truer colours
PANTONE Validated certification confirms the accurate display of a wide range of colours and skin tones. The Samsung MRE55R86H TV thus helps maintain a more natural look for characters, landscapes, and creative content. You'll appreciate the more accurate colour reproduction when watching movies, photos, and design-oriented content where hue fidelity matters. ⁶
Real Depth Enhancer for more natural depth
Real Depth Enhancer works with the contrast between the foreground and background to make the image appear more spatial. The function mimics the way the human eye perceives depth in a scene and accentuates objects in the foreground. Documentaries, sports footage, and film scenes can thus appear more realistic and naturally draw you into the action.
AI Customization Mode
AI Customization Mode can recognise the type of content you're watching and adjust the picture settings to your preferences. It can handle sports, movies, or regular TV viewing differently. This way, the picture adapts better to what you're currently watching without you having to manually change the settings for each type of content.
Samsung Vision AI Companion
Samsung Vision AI Companion extends the capabilities of your smart TV with on-screen assistance. You can ask questions about the content you're watching and other topics and get answers in visual form. This provides a more personal and interactive experience that combines entertainment, search, and Samsung Vision AI's smart features. ⁷
AI Football Mode for sports broadcasts
AI Football Mode is designed for watching football and helps to adapt the picture and sound to sports content. The TV enhances colours, dynamic contrast, and commentary clarity to make the match clearer and the atmosphere more intense. This means sports broadcasts can offer a more vivid picture and clearer sound. ⁸
AI Sound Controller
The AI Sound Controller analyses audio in real time and can separate voice from sound effects. You can adjust the volume of individual audio layers as needed using the on-screen menu or voice control. This means dialogues, singing, or commentary can stand out better even in scenes with prominent music or effects. ⁹
Generative Wallpaper
Generative Wallpaper allows you to create custom screens to match the mood, style, or atmosphere of your room. Simply select a theme and the TV will use AI to prepare a visual that can complement your interior and a specific occasion. This means the Samsung MRE55R86H can serve not only for content viewing, but can also become a decorative element of your home. ¹⁰
Motion Xcelerator 144Hz for smooth gaming
Motion Xcelerator 144Hz helps to ensure smoother motion in games and fast scenes. The TV supports a variable refresh rate of up to 144Hz, so the picture can feel snappier and clearer. Fast action games, races, and sports scenes get cleaner motion with less judder and blur. ¹¹
AI Gaming Optimiser
The AI Gaming Optimiser analyses the game's image in real time and recognises the type of game. It automatically adjusts selected settings according to the genre to make gameplay smoother and the image better suited to the specific situation. This gives gamers optimised settings without having to go through tedious menus. ¹²
FreeSync Premium Pro for smoother action
FreeSync Premium Pro helps reduce screen tearing, stuttering, and disruptive lag during gameplay. The technology also supports a low-latency HDR gaming experience. Dynamic scenes can feel more stable and fluid, which you'll appreciate especially in fast-paced games and competitive gaming. ¹³
Game Bar for quick game settings
The Game Bar allows you to quickly adjust game features directly during gameplay. For example, you can display information about FPS, input lag, minimap settings, or the 21:9 and 32:9 widescreen aspect ratios. This puts your game settings quickly at hand without having to leave your current game. ¹⁴
Dolby Atmos for more spatial sound
Dolby Atmos adds more space, depth, and clarity to the sound. This can make watching films, TV series, and games more impressive and immersive. The sound is not just limited to standard stereo, but helps create a richer and more spacious atmosphere in your living room.
Adaptive Sound Pro
Adaptive Sound Pro optimises sound according to the type of content and room acoustics. The Samsung MRE55R86H TV recognises different sound elements, such as speech or music, and adjusts their delivery to keep them balanced and clear. This way, the sound adapts to films, sports, music, and regular broadcasts. ¹⁵
Active Voice Amplifier Pro
Active Voice Amplifier Pro helps to enhance dialogue even in busier environments. The TV uses AI to isolate voices from ambient and background sounds to make speech clearer. This makes every word stand out better when watching films, news, TV series, and sports broadcasts.
Object Tracking Sound Lite
Object Tracking Sound Lite creates virtual surround sound that helps to better connect the audio with the on-screen movement. This makes effects, dialogues, and action scenes feel more natural and better match the on-screen action. The audio accompaniment better draws you into the content you're watching and complements the stunning 4K picture.
Q-Symphony with a compatible soundbar
Q-Symphony allows you to harmonise the TV's speakers with a compatible Samsung soundbar. The TV and soundbar can play simultaneously to create a richer, spatial soundstage. Films, concerts, and sports broadcasts will gain more impressive sound if you complement your TV with a suitable soundbar. ¹⁶
One UI Tizen for smart entertainment
The One UI Tizen interface provides clear smart TV control, quick access to content, management of AI functions, and Samsung Knox Security protection. Samsung also supports long-term updates for the Tizen system on selected TVs. The Smart TV environment makes it easy for you to watch films, series, apps, and online content from one place. ¹⁷
Samsung TV Plus and Art Store
Samsung TV Plus allows you to watch selected free content directly on your TV, while the Art Store gives you access to an extensive range of artworks for the decorative screen mode. The TV thus offers not only films and series, but also cultural and visual content that can complement the atmosphere of your home. ¹⁸
Now Brief for useful information
Now Brief can display practical information such as the weather, a daily overview, or smart home updates. The function can be activated by voice or when you approach the TV. This way, you can quickly get an overview of important information on the screen without having to open another device. ¹⁹
Samsung Knox Security for data protection
Samsung Knox Security helps protect sensitive data, login credentials, and the TV's smart functions. The system monitors connected IoT devices, blocks malicious apps and websites, and uses security updates. This gives your smart TV a higher level of protection when using online services and connected devices. ²⁰
SmartThings for a smart home
Thanks to SmartThings, you can connect your TV to compatible smart devices in your home. From one screen, you can conveniently control or monitor selected elements of your smart home. The Samsung MRE55R86H can thus become a natural part of a connected household, where you have more functions under your control. ²¹
Quick Remote on your mobile phone
The Quick Remote function allows you to use your compatible phone as a remote control for the TV. With the SmartThings app, you can adjust the volume, change channels, browse media, or quickly access selected Samsung Tizen TV features. Controlling via mobile is practical when you don't have the standard remote to hand. ²²
AI Energy Mode for smarter power management
AI Energy Mode in SmartThings helps analyse ambient light, usage patterns, and displayed content to adjust screen brightness accordingly. This feature can contribute to more economical operation during daily viewing. Smart brightness control helps reduce unnecessary energy consumption without the need to constantly adjust settings manually. ²³
Karaoke for home entertainment
The Karaoke function can turn your TV into a home karaoke stage. You can use a compatible phone as a microphone or supported wireless microphones for singing. This gives family celebrations, parties, and regular evenings a more entertaining dimension right in your living room. ²⁴
Monolith Edge design
The Samsung MRE55R86H features an elegant Monolith Edge design with a slim profile and thin bezels. The titanium black finish looks subtle, modern, and easily fits into a living room or home cinema. The premium appearance complements the powerful picture and sound features of this Micro RGB TV.
SolarCell Remote
The equipment includes the SolarCell Remote, which recharges with light using a solar panel on the back. Therefore, there is no need to use disposable batteries. The remote also offers smart features including a microphone and voice assistant support, making everyday TV control more convenient. ²⁴
