Zyxel LTE3316

Zyxel LTE3316
An LTE Wi-Fi modem might have an exterior like a classic Wi-Fi router. The fundamental difference lies in the letters, LTE. While a classic modem requires a wired connection, an LTE modem just needs wireless internet from your operator. It's practically the same as sharing a connection with your smartphone. An LTE-enabled Wi-Fi modem is much like a normal Wi-Fi router (splits connections between multiple devices), but instead of a cable connection, it uses a SIM card.
The Zyxel LTE3316 has support for 802,11a (5GHz), 802,11b (2,4GHz), 802,11g (2,4GHz), 802,11n and 802,11ac standards, and this lets you achieve speeds up to 867 Mb/s. The support for the 802.11n standard is particularly commendable because it allows for communication with a possible speed up to 600Mb/s, which is the current maximum at a 2.4GHz frequency. The Zyxel LTE3316 also handles 802.11ac, and therefore when using the 5GHz frequency you can get speeds up to 1800Mb/s.
