Z-BOX is a self-service pick-up and drop-off location. It means you never have to sit at home waiting for a courier to call. You can pick up your parcel via Packeta mobile app, whenever your time allows, and the delivery cost is almost the same as for business pick-up points.

Z-BOX is not only there for you to receive your parcel, but now it helps you send it. You can send your parcel to anywhere and anywhen in the Czech Republic, Slovakia or Hungary. Even in the middle of the night! Z-BOX never closes!

How can you send a parcel via Z-BOX? It is quick and easy. Add the parcel data via the Packeta app. Write the sending password on the parcel, put it in the Z-BOX mailbox and you're all done!

Want to have a Z-BOX in your area?

The ideal solution is to contact the local council authority directly and inform them that you are interested in a Z-BOX. Representatives can then gauge the interest of other citizens, discuss the matter with the council, and then contact us directly through our contact form.

How can I pick up a parcel from Z-BOX?

Your phone must have a proper set up to open the Z-BOX, and you must pay for the product. How?

  • You have to install the latest version of Packeta app.
  • When you arrive at the Z-BOX, turn on the Bluetooth function on your mobile device.
  • Make sure your mobile data connection is on as well.
  • When you pick up a parcel from the Z-BOX, you must stay within 2 metres of the Z-BOX.
  • The recipient of the shipment must be registered and logged in to the application.
  • Did you receive a COD (cash on delivery) delivery at Z-BOX? In that case, you must pay the amount via the Packeta mobile app using the online payment gateway. It is easy. Click on the "Cash on delivery" button in the app.

How can I receive a shipment from Z-BOX without a mobile data connection?

Don't have mobile internet? No problem. You can prepare your shipment in advance in the app - connected via Wi-Fi, in the comfort of your home.

  • Find the packages in the Packeta app.
  • If the package is COD, pay in the app.
  • Refresh the package (to reload the page, drag your finger across the screen). It will download the data required for collection.
  • You can now head to the Z-BOX.
  • Click on the "Open account" button in the parcel details.
  • The box opens and you can collect the parcel.

How is cash on delivery paid? Can I pay by bank transfer?

It is not possible to pay the balance by bank transfer. The only way to settle cash on delivery payment is via the online payment gateway.

  • In the app, find the parcel you want to collect.
  • Click on the "Pay after" button.
  • After being redirected to a secure payment gateway, you can enter the data of your card.
  • Please make sure you have enabled online payments on your card and set a sufficient limit.

What should I do if I cannot collect my parcel within two days?

You have two calendar days to collect your parcel from Z-BOX. Z-BOXes are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week - so you can even collect your parcel at night. If you still cannot pick it up, we have good news for you. You can extend the deadline by one day - giving you three calendar days to pick up your parcel!

There are several ways to extend the storing time of your parcel in a Z-BOX:

  • In the Packeta mobile app: find your package and click on the three dots next to the "Open account" button. An option will then pop up with the "Extend" button.
  • Package Tracking feature on the web: please use this link.
  • By calling phone number +36 1 400 88 06.

Please note that storing of the parcel can only be extended if the parcel has the "Ready for collection" status.

If you fail to collect the parcel, it will automatically be returned to the sender - you will then need to settle an agreement with the sender for a new parcel.

How can I collect my parcel without a smartphone?

In order to receive a parcel from Z-BOX, you must have a mobile device (phone, tablet) with the current version of the Packeta app, which you can download from the App Store or Google Play Store.

If you do not have such a device, please contact us at +36 1 400 88 06. We will be happy to help you find a solution. Please keep the tracking number with you.

Can someone else pick up the parcel for me?

No problem, as long as you share the package with the person.

  • Click on the three dots next to the package you want to share.
  • The option to share the shipment will appear.
  • Select the recipient - the person you want to share the parcel with - and choose how to send them the parcel details (e.g. WhatsApp, SMS, AirDrop, e-mail. ).
  • And you will also share the tracking number and password of the shipment with the person you choose.

I want to send a parcel via Z-BOX

Z-BOX is not only there to help you collect your parcels, but now also to help you send them. It's quick and easy. Through the Packeta app, you enter your details, pay the shipping fee, write the password on the parcel, insert the parcel into a Z-BOX drawer and you're all done! A video or a detailed written guidance will lead you through the process, so you can see how to do it.

What is the parcel size that I can fit in a Z-BOX drawer?

A parcel up to 5 kg can be sent via Z-BOX. Compartments are available in a range of sizes - the maximum size of a compartment is 45 x 36 x 61 cm.

If you have ordered a parcel from an online store that exceeds the dimensions and weight based on the parameters of the online store, our system will not display Z-BOXes when you select the drop-off point. If we do not receive the size data from the online store and the shipment exceeds the specified parameters, we will send your parcel to a pick-up point nearest to the Z-BOX (office, shop, etc.).
