Xiaomi smartwatches offer more than 150 sports modes
Don't be afraid to get active and start exercising or taking part in other activities. The Xiaomi Watch S5 accurately measures your performance parameters—heart rate, average pace or calories burned. You can choose from more than 150 sports modes. A 5 ATM water resistance rating is a given, so you can go swimming without any worries and measure your swimming performance. In the Xiaomi Watch S5, you have professional courses and systematic workouts at your disposal. With the Xiaomi Watch S5, you can also record the length, distance and average speed of every ski or snowboard run. You can find more detailed information in the app on the results page. You can also view a map of your ski trail.
Your personal trainer right on your wrist
The smartwatch provides you with your own running coach. Through special modes, it guides beginner runners, helps you with fat burning, or helps you better prepare for your preferred race. Using advanced sensors, the Xiaomi smartwatch can automatically recognise key running technique indicators, such as vertical ratio, vertical oscillation, or ground contact time.
Xiaomi Watch S5 uses dual-band five-system GNSS
The Xiaomi Watch S5 is equipped with a dual-band GNSS chip supporting five key positioning systems—GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS. The chip also uses advanced algorithms for faster and more accurate positioning. The Xiaomi Watch S5 provides you with real-time instructions on where to go on the map. If you go off-route, the watch will alert you. If you are not sure of the way back, just one tap will help you find your way to the starting point.
Mi Fitness app
Always have up-to-date and detailed information about your health or activity at hand. The companion Mi Fitness app, once paired with the Xiaomi Watch S5, stores all the measured data, which you can then view in a clear format. It also supports Health Connect and the Suunto sports platform.
Xiaomi Watch S5 features a sophisticated PPG biosensor
The Xiaomi Watch S5 provides all-day heart rate monitoring and can track your SpO₂ blood oxygen level. The PPG biosensor, with its enhanced hardware and algorithms, ensures more accurate heart rate measurement during both low and very high-intensity activities. If you're feeling stressed, the Xiaomi Watch S5 can guide you through breathing exercises to help you calm down. With all-day tracking enabled, the watch can regularly check your blood oxygenation and alert you if your levels are too low. The Xiaomi Watch S5 smartwatch more accurately records your nightly sleep, including all its phases, and also captures occasional short naps during the day. With your Xiaomi watch, you can identify your sleep pattern and improve your sleeping habits.
Xiaomi Watch S5 enables contactless payments and has other practical features
Thanks to NFC technology, you can use contactless payments and pay with your Xiaomi watch using supported Mastercard and Visa cards. This feature is only available with selected banks, and its availability should be checked on the manufacturer's or bank's website. Connect the Xiaomi Watch S5 to your phone via Bluetooth, and you can handle incoming calls from your wrist. The watch is equipped with a microphone and a speaker. When skiing, it can detect a fall and, if you don't respond within 60 seconds, automatically call a preset emergency contact. For this feature to work, the watch must be connected to the Mi Fitness app and the function must be activated beforehand. If you need to save important information displayed on the watch, you can simply take a screenshot. You can also customise the watch's placement in the settings, depending on whether you wear it on your left or right wrist.
