WESTERN DIGITAL Caviar Green 750GB 64MB cache with Advanced Format

Modern hard disk with a capacity of 750 gigabytes of new Caviar Green series, which promises from previous generations even greater energy savings and perfect quietness of operation. The key to such a high capacity is the use of perpendicular write.Perpendicular write technology allows the storage plate perpendicular to the disk, the data record is so dense and capacity several times higher than the older longitudinal registration.Excellent performance also support the 64 MB cache, which is double the amount compared to conventional hard drives. With its low power consumption and noise emitted from the disk is suitable for multimedia PC, HTPC, home servers, or for use in external boxes. This version of the disc is intended for connection to high-speed SATA III.
Mark Green Power marks the breakthrough technology of hard drives, which reduces operating consumption, heat and radiated noise.Provide her saving features IntelliPower, IntelliPark, and IntelliSeek. The first of these disk platters synchronized speed, transfer rate and caching to reduce disk consumption as well as the best performance.IntelliPark automatically parks the disk heads to reduce drag.IntelliSeek calculates the optimum interplay of heads and platters for the best balance between performance, consumption and noise. This feature saves battery life and disk environment.
