High capacity
The 6TB storage capacity can hold a large amount of data, including films, music, and work projects. This lets users keep all their important files with them at all times without having to delete older content due to lack of space. Sufficient data storage space solves the problem of limited internal memory on a computer or mobile phone. The drive helps keep extensive family archives and demanding work folders in one secure place.
Fast connection
The USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, combined with the USB-C connector, provides fast file transfers between devices. The drive is plug-and-play, so it doesn't require any additional drivers to be installed. A transfer speed of up to 5Gb/s shortens the time it takes to copy large folders and bulky video files. The connection works reliably on modern laptops, desktop computers, and compatible mobile devices without needing to buy any adaptors.
Software data protection
The drive comes with Acronis True Image for Western Digital software, which helps you schedule regular backups. This program also protects the operating system from attacks by malicious ransomware that could permanently damage your data. The security of valuable data is complemented by the option to set an access password. This gives users an effective tool for systematically protecting their files from unexpected internet threats.
Security encryption
The protection of sensitive documents is ensured by integrated AES hardware encryption with a 256-bit key. This feature effectively prevents unauthorised access to the content if the drive is lost or stolen. Hardware-based 256-bit AES encryption protects your files from prying eyes. Users can carry the drive in a backpack or bag without worry, as their private information remains under constant protection.
