Plays well with others
WD Gold™ hard drives have been designed specifically for enterprise-class storage systems and data centres, and are broadly compatible with major enterprise operating systems. WD Gold™ hard drives achieve up to 2.5 million hours MTBF3, delivering enhanced reliability and durability. The innovative ArmorCache™ feature provides enterprise-class data protection against power failure in write-cache enable (WCE) mode and increases performance in write-cache disable (WCD) mode.
Tested for reliable compatibility
WD Gold™ drives use OptiNAND™ technology, which enables increased capacity. WD Gold™ drives use sophisticated electronics that monitor the drive and, using advanced vibration protection technology, help correct both linear and rotational vibrations in real time. This provides improved performance in high-vibration environments.
