Fast burning
Burn a standard DVD at 8× speed, a single and dual-layer Blu-ray disc at 6×, and a BDXL disc at 4×. The Ultra HD 4K Slimline Blu-ray writer supports buffer underrun protection, preventing problems during recording. This is all made possible by the modern USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface with a USB-C connector. The Blu-ray writer is also designed to save precious energy. It supports Zero Power ODD (Optical Disc Drive) technology, which reduces the optical drive's power consumption in the operating system to zero, saving energy when the drive is not in use.
Nero Burn & Archive software
The external Ultra HD 4K Slimline Blu-ray writer is compatible with a wide range of optical discs, from a 100GB BDXL disc to a simple 700MB CD. The included award-winning Nero Burn & Archive software (the Nero Burn & Archive software is only suitable for PC), which contains a range of special features such as DiscSpan, MediaHome, and SecureDisc technology, helps you successfully organise, burn, and archive your important files. Various streaming options, including the Nero Streaming Player app, let you display your films, photos, slideshows, and other media on a variety of devices, such as smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs. For added security, you can even add password protection and an electronic signature so everyone knows you own the copyright.
