The equipment was purchased at a bargain price and serves its purpose. I can play music from my phone in the car and have the sound of a car alarm or calls playing out loud. That's all you can expect. If you have a slightly more decent non-BT radio in your car, I'd probably look around for something better with regard to sound quality. Not to mention that after about 2 hours the sound gets even worse. It's a little raspy at altitude.
