i bought this specifically because it was supposed to connect to an app on the iPhone, which it does. But, the fact that it doesn't exchange data with Apple Health means I end up having to type data results to the Apple Health app manually. For that reason I don't recommend if want full connectivity. I won't speculate why Apple doesn't have an option to allow data exchange with the TrueLife App.
