It works quite well, but the signal doesn't go further than 15 meters through the stone wall of the house.
The sound of the alarm is so horrible that it has accidentally woken up my heavily sleeping baby about a million times. You really don't want that at home. The monitor roars automatically when I plug the camera into the socket, also when the monitor is discharging. It's something that's really reliable to wake up a kid when you don't have at least two closed doors from the parent unit. You can't turn it off. For the money, this is a real rip-off from the manufacturer.
