I don't think there is another better quality grinder on the market in a similar price range. It does what it's supposed to, good regulation of grind coarseness. It just happened to us that the part you hold the grinder by (the silver part) started to spin and you couldn't use the grinder. All you needed was double-sided cardboard, force the silver part back on and you're good to go. According to the reviews, I'm not the only one this has happened to, but I'm sure they'll acknowledge your claim.
The salt grinder is great, but the pepper grinder I have claimed and the new one I replaced suffers from the same malady, it spins because the metal sleeve is not glued on. Probably a faulty series. I'm wondering whether to advertise again or buy glue...
