As I am a handy DIYer with the proper tools, mounting the antenna gave me a lot of trouble, so much so that I decided to buy this mount. It was cheaper in the end than the time and materials spent on production. In addition, the antenna has a unique attachment without any possibility of any other attachment than the original one.
In our conditions, the antenna must face north, so expect that.
The tested wind speed of 96km/h is almost at the limit in our conditions so I am curious.
