I was hesitant to switch from the good Roborock S7 Vmax ultra.
The Black Friday price of 25.990, - (down 12 thousand) was clearly the reason for the change.

Unfortunately, my decision making was complicated enough by my traditional internet surfing and searching for various reviews and reactions to the switch from the Roborock S7 V max Ultra, which was the top of the line three years ago.
I found that the critical reviews about the Saros 10r's worse navigation - due to the fact that it doesn't have a LiDAR turret - are not entirely based on truth. And in the final analysis, I found the navigation to be much better on the Saros. Yes, Saros is a little slower in certain situations. Like when he's cleaning and you're walking by him. So it registers your movement and slows it down a lot. But that's simply his measure of security. Otherwise, Saros 10r thinks faster, plans his route faster and more logically, makes decisions faster when the environment changes (chairs typically). With the S7 Vmax, the table and chairs were quite a problem. Not that he couldn't wipe under them. It did, but it took him a really long time to move between chairs compared to the Saros S10.
Another reason for me to switch was the fact that the Saros 10 heats water up to 80 degrees! If you have a pet, you will appreciate such mop disinfection. And yes, the waste water is really very warm, so it's not just a paper feature.
I have long been researching whether rotary mops (Saros) or vibrating mops (Vmax 7 and 8) are more effective for mopping and I have to say that with the same mopping product (purchased on Alza MELICONI 621029) the floor is much shinier after cleaning with Saros. After S7 VMax it was also clean, but as if rather dull. Another reason for the switch was the integrated cleaning agent tank. With the S7 I had to add to the water tank. This way, you are actually just monitoring that he has clean water in the tank and is basically always ready. I didn't start the S7 remotely via the app because of this. Saros I already can. With the S7 I had to buy a mop drying module. Here it is integrated. And here's one completely idiotic criticism. It's a bit louder on the Saros compared to the S7. But if you don't have a vacuum cleaner near your living room like we do, you won't mind. Design-wise, I also like the Saros station better. It's more compact, more luxurious. As far as cleaning and maintenance of the station is concerned, I really like the possibility of removing the whole bowl in which the mops are washed. You take the bowl and just rinse it once in a while. This was not an option with the S7 and cleaning was a total pain.
One really important thing. Saros is much, much quieter even on turbo power vacuuming! Overall, I am very satisfied and I do not regret the exchange for the S7. Both have great results, after all, they are also both from Roborock, which is the market leader in the most advanced vacuum cleaners. But with the Saros 10r you can just see the evolution and the difference 3 years from the S7.
