Our 3rd vacuum cleaner. We started on a Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum, it's about 8 years old and still works at a friend's house. We have now had a Roborock S6 maxV for 3 years. I'm going to compare it more to the S6 because there are a lot of similarities and improvements. Strength: you can tell right away that what he can pull out of the carpet is pretty cool. The brush is now just silicone versus a bristle brush, so it doesn't get hair tangled. In balanced mode, I watch TV and don't even have to turn up the volume and it still sucks up everything in its path.
Navigation: I was a bit worried about the navigation because the S6 had a LIDAR+camera with AI intelligence, so it could recognize objects and it really worked nicely. REVO has just Lidar + sensors and I have to say it works surprisingly the same. There are even comparisons online with the S8 Ultra which also has an AI camera and the Revo drove exactly the same as the S8. Mops: they are awesome, simply on magnets and velcro, he washes them himself, he dries them himself. Easily replaceable, good to buy multiple sets. Finally, our vacuum cleaner is really mopping and you can see it in the apartment. Even dried stains will give, but you need to go there twice, we have a routine for the kitchen and living room to go twice. There is the greatest accumulation of stains and dirt.
Stations: superbly made, easy maintenance, the bag lasts about a month of vacuuming and Alfred always drives with a full basket - we have a dog, so every day hair everywhere and we would never want to be without a robot. It arrives at the station and empties itself - a few seconds of noise and I don't have to worry if it can start again next time. The waste water is a little dirty, there is dirt at the bottom, it can be seen that the mop wash really works and cleans the dirt. Even after time, when one examines the dry mops, there is no dirt between the fibers. Compared to other vacuums, they keep them running a lot longer before they start to smell.
App: the perfect app, which was already developed with the S6 maxV vacuum cleaner.
