Nowhere, probably deliberately, does the manufacturer write the thickness. Of course, it's not 1 mm like the SL1M, I didn't even count on that. But I was expecting a little narrower. There is 2.7 mm between the top edge of the case and the phone, and roughly 2.3 mm at the bottom. It increases the phone's circumference by about 2x 2.5 mm, and it shows. The camera protection protrudes more than 5 mm above the back (otherwise 2.7 mm above the "chapel"). The ring is black, that's what made me buy the cover because the white ones look cheap. The stand looks solid and sturdy. Hopefully, it won't "plop" over time. It's intuitive and using a mobile phone with it is a completely different story from the first seconds. As soon as you put the cover on, the phone warns you that there may be problems using the pen. But I tried tracing the whole screen and it didn't skip or write anywhere outside the tip, so hopefully it's ok. I haven't had a chance to test if the magnet holds - but reviews generally say that it can be a problem with mounts that don't count on cameras of this mboil. It's even worse with a cover that's pretty flimsy.
