beautiful design
beautiful sound
practical and easy to use
very pronounced bass
long battery life
when listening to something where strong bass is not appropriate (relaxing music, spoken word), the bass cannot be reduced to a usable level

great for louder rock music
breaking down from quiet listening e.g. of the spoken word, the sound is accompanied by a slight noise, which has been pointed out in other forums
for the price I would expect flawless listening of everything

I tested the Kilburn III against the competing Sonos Move 2. For me, the Marhsall won with its sound and I can't fault it, but music and its expression is certainly subjective and something different suits everyone. The Kilburn III excels in bass rock / and pop, it generally has a full and warm sound gravitating to the bass, for classic vocal songs it still sounds good, but the Sonos Move 2 leads in these genres, vocals are cleaner. As far as electronics are concerned, compared to the competition, it is not as packed with "modern" features, see Cons (for that it is a few thousand cheaper). If, like me, you are not worried about these features, because you do not plan to expand and connect the speakers and you can do without the audio assistant, I definitely recommend Kilburn III. But what I would recommend you to do is ideally listen live and decide according to your preferences.
Beautiful, full, warm sound with excellent bass delivery.
You turn the speaker on, and you actually forget to watch if the presentation is balanced. because it just sounds good after a little tweaking
Ideal for listening to rock and pop music with any bass overtone where the speaker excels
Unbeatable battery life (the manufacturer claims 50 hours, I haven't tested it realistically, but I usually forget it even has a battery)
In-app equalizer with the ability to switch between two modes directly on the speaker (Original + any user-selected mode)
In the app, the speaker placement can be compensated (Against the wall, in the corner, free X in the middle of the table or at the edge)
Beautiful design
Bluetooth 5.3 allowing multipoint connection of multiple devices to the speaker at the same time
The electronics unfortunately lag behind the competition:
No microphone, so no audio assistant, and therefore the absence of some features such as automatic compensation for speaker placement based on the speaker's own eavesdropping of reflected sound
Can't connect via Wifi, so can't play in lossless quality, but in testing against competing devices I didn't notice any abysmal difference
Cannot be paired with other speaker(s), for example for "true stereo" listening or for people who want to pair up the whole house and play from all speakers at the same time

Somehow I imagine the perfect sound differently. At higher volumes this is not very noticeable, but when listening quietly to classical and jazz in the evening, the bass processing was not very good. Very disturbing subtones appear and listening is impossible. This was most apparent to me when listening to the spoken word. You really can't do that. If the rear exhaust is clogged, the situation will improve a bit, but you really don't want to work on a product at this price. The treble and bass adjustment has such a small range that it is almost indistinguishable. You can just tell that everything is at a minimum or maximum. The equalizer from the app is of course also useless. It's very beautiful to look at, though.
beautiful design
suitable only for loud listening to rock and similar music
