If you grind this coffee yourself as and when you need it, it’ll be an excellent choice, with no acidity and none of those trendy citrus flavours. Latino Café grinds it too finely, however; it is best suited to a Turkish coffee pot, a filter coffee maker or, alternatively, a manual press.
It really isn’t very acidic at all; earthy, even delicate on the palate, and of medium body – certainly not some hipster fair-trade sour swill.
Look out! It really is ground far too finely! They are not suitable for lever-operated coffee machines; they are difficult and time-consuming to tamp with a 7g dose. And that, unfortunately, is a major drawback.
