After reading the reviews here, I considered buying them but ended up buying them because they seemed like a good candidate for the price and intended use. The headphones play very well for what they cost. They sit well in the ears and are very easy to take out of the case. The supported codec on Android is AAC at 44khz and 16 bits. The bass plays nicely, the sound is balanced. The JBL app is not needed either on the phone or on the PC, just turn on Bluetooth and the headphones play and play well even without the JBL app. Don' t be put off by bad reviews.
