Over 20 years with Intel without any problems and I would not change, this processor has again confirmed me that there is no point in switching to the competition. For this price, you get absolutely extreme performance.
Great processor for games and normal work or work with graphics. When combined with other peripherals, you get extreme performance.
Can be cooled by an air cooler, temperatures under load are minimal.
Super price
Absolutely trouble-free operation

The processor met expectations. Outstanding performance in games, graphics and video. I appreciate the presence of NPU - AI tasks run faster than on the previous generation

Satisfaction, 20 cores do their job, so far I'm going without a GPU but I guess that's why I can comment on the performance of the CPU, so just that I can clearly open and play 4K raw videos from the NAS, which laptop i7 and RTX 2060 does not give. As I write so far without a GPU, where I am still very much choosing.

Despite all the lovely reviews on professional forums and YouTube, despite the big PR fanboys from Team Red, this is one of the sovereign best processors on the market today for work and play in the price/performance ratio. I would even say the absolute best in years across everything that has been produced. Those looking for gaming only should reach for the AMD X3D. Anyone looking for huge raw power for reasonable money for work and productive tasks, and who likes to play at the same time, has nothing to think about at all. The AM5 platform will be long dead before this processor runs out of breath. The new iGPU in the Xe-LPG version is a steamroller ahead of the competition in productive tasks, as the AMD 8000G doesn't have the same multi-core performance at the CPU itself - not by a long shot. It's not a graphic to upload, but for productivity especially in a multiGPU configuration you get used to it too quickly. Everything is absolutely smooth and specifically working with 4K video is a joy. The Core Ultra 7 265K is an honest to goodness workhorse as we've known from Intel in the past, and that hasn't always been true in recent years unfortunately. In this context, therefore, it is only with a smile what hate is coming at Intel. FPS "chaser" benchmark insights are one thing, real user experience is another. If you're tackling PCs today and you're not going to wait until the end of next year for new processors, you definitely can't go wrong at this price.
Excellent performance for work and play
20 physical cores, 8x P-core up to 5.4-5.5GHz and 12x E-core at 4.6GHz is raw power to spare
Reasonable temperatures for 240mm AiO cooling, but more like 360mm under maximum load
For video editing and editing you'll be hard pressed to find a better choice, iGPU HW codecs are perfectly adequate for most of the population and work great
iGPU can handle programs like Adobe Premier or DaVinci Resolve, working in 4K and rendering is incredibly smooth without complex filters and effects (on iGPU?! )
The integrated NPU unit works decently, but it's designed for basic AI functions like image recognition, removing background from a photo, etc. Insufficient for Copilot+ designation
In games, completely and utterly sufficient performance in 2K/4K gaming - performance is dependent on the graphics card and this processor is definitely not a drag
The power up and response of the computer during normal use in the operating system is great
Idle power consumption is under 25W, in 4K rendering mode with active iGPU normally around 50-70W, with heavy AAA gaming and a moderate adjustment of settings in the BIOS around 170W - perfectly reasonable, definitely not getting to the shocking numbers someone is throwing around on the internet
Socket 1851 is fully compatible with the vast majority of previous coolers, although this may not always be apparent from the original product description
The 1851 platform will only get a refresh version of these processors and then Intel probably won't release another one, so limited options for further PC upgrades
You need to know a few extra things before you buy, e.g. build a PC in the optimal memory combination, i.e. with DDR5 between 6000 - 6400MTs, but especially with low timings, otherwise you won't know the real performance of this processor
For someone that there is no stock cooler in the package

The processor works like clockwork, the noctua cooler is the latest, temperatures low at rest 34 degrees, the connection with the integrated graphics is great, it handles normal work at number one, so it does not strain the dedicated graphics in normal work, internet, videos, etc. It doesn't fall, great for the price. Integrated NPU artificial intelligence.
