I upgraded from a samsung A40 almost 6 years old. I bought it because of the promised long-term software support and Graphene OS support. I deleted the original spyware operating system from google right out of the box - it doesn't run any useful programs or background tracking, which means it only drains maybe two percent overnight. Installation of graphene seamless. It's a little more expensive but hopefully it will last me longer than the samsung.

I really use the desktop mod (actually, even now), but the Pixel version - it's not possible even with the best will.
