We're sorry you found the initial setup complicated. Let us just make a small clarification: The device supports all common Wi-Fi network security - WPA, WPA2, WPA3, WEP and OPEN. It is therefore not limited to WPA/WPA2. The station operates exclusively in the 2.4 GHz band, which has the advantage of a longer range compared to 5 GHz. The data volume transmitted by the station is very small and therefore there is no need to use the 5GHz network. The weather station setup app is designed to make the whole process as quick and manageable as possible in 3-5 minutes. For this price I definitely do not recommend. There are better brands on the market at better prices. Inaccurate measurements, cumbersome controls, very poor software. Technically they are just rebranded Chinese Fine Offset stations sold under the trade name Garni or Bresser (Germany)
SW in Czech however is very bad
The only positive is the large and very readable VA panel, but the backlight cannot be turned off completely
Extremely poor control using the WSLink mobile app - the station does not have an HTTP server, so there is no way around this app!
Some settings can only be made by using the buttons on the station
Complicated WiFi connection that is unstable even when using a high-end Mikrotik router.
Connecting an external sensor is more about chance and luck
In the event of a power failure, the external sensors are disconnected but do not automatically reconnect. A reset of the sensors and possibly the station is required. If the sensors are difficult to access, for example on the roof, it's a real treat
Very poor Garni app, which is only basic and contains major bugs (regardless of wind speed unit settings, it always displays the same values)
The ProWeatherLive server is very unreliable, sometimes the login from the browser fails at all and has to be repeated several times. Cannot switch to dark mode.
The station generally measures very inaccurately and calibration to another reliable station is necessary

Hello, thank you for your review, based on which we contacted the supplier. The supplier has sent us a statement, which I enclose:
- The station uses top-of-the-range SENSIRION sensors, the accuracy matches the specification.
- This is not a rebrand of Fine Offset, the company is not related to the product.
- Controls are standard, some small things (e.g. index switching) are set with the buttons.
-It is not clear what software the review is referring to. If it was stated specifically, we could respond or provide assistance.
- WiFi operates in the 2.4 GHz band, which is common for IoT devices.
- Sensors are paired automatically, outages are rare. A new pairing can be triggered by pressing the button on the main unit.
- The ProWeatherLive server is operated by our partner. Outages are very rare. Dark mode is not yet available, which does not limit its normal functionality.
- Accuracy corresponds to normal use and comparison with other home stations is not meaningful. Calibratio
