on the handle of the pliers there are small protrusions/plastic needles, which are apparently supposed to work against slipping, unfortunately, if you do not use gloves and you squeeze the pliers, it is quite painful and after a few squeezes you go for the gloves anyway
the entire rubber/plastic part of the pliers came loose after 15 minutes of working with the combination pliers.
